Be a part of a team that supports engineering functions throughout the organization including design, product development & specification review. The Engineer will also support technical marketing functions & manufacturing needs as they arise.
• Evaluate & reviewing project drawings & specifications • Evaluate & review pipeline designs • Assist with new product development• Perform detailed design of products to be manufactured• Write & present case studies & various industry events.• Cost analysis & quality analysis as directed• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training teammembers & evaluating results• Help develop & evaluate policies & practices throughout the organization• Prepare preliminary design proposals• Participate in engineering & general design review asrequired• Perform liaison function between Engineering & all manufacturing operations for any related issues,problems or improvements• Interact with customers on engineering design & any questions/problems they may have• Interact with vendors concerning parts they supply or propose to supply to company• Coordinate as required with internal groups including purchasing, quality control, sales, production, accounting personnel, metal finishing, & assembly• Keep supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, & progress as related to work assignments.

• To perform the duties & responsibilities of this position successfully, individuals must possess the ability to effectively work with varying management styles. Have exceptional skills working with computers & software packages such as MS Word, Outlook, Excel, CAD equipment & software as well as experience with Access. Ability to read, analyze, & interpret complex documents.• Ability to write presentations & articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective & persuasive arguments & presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, &/or boards of directors. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations,graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.• Ability to comprehend & apply principles of calculus, modern algebra, & statistical theory as well as soil mechanics, hydraulics, structural theory & fracture mechanics.• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual & practical problems.• Ability to deal with a variety of abstract & concrete variables. Have a proven track record in organizational & analytical skill performance. Possess a high degree of integrity, attention to detail, business acumen & knowledge of the organization & its business policies.
Education:
• BS Civil Engineering or Engineering Management.
