A “Perfect” First: Geneva Pipe’s New Lined Product Breaks Ground with First Install
The installation of a Perfect Lined Manhole marks a milestone for Geneva Pipe.
For the first time, our Geneva team loaded a Perfect Lined Manhole onto the truck for delivery to a project site. The innovative new product was headed to the Lakefront Town Center area of Vineyard City, Utah. Here, it became the first Perfect Lined Manhole produced by Geneva Pipe to be installed.
Recently added to our inventory of sanitary sewer solutions, the Perfect Lined Manhole System is a corrosion-resistant product constructed with
Reinforced Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC) and an interior lining of High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) and Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP). HDPE and FRP have a long and successful history of use in sanitary sewer applications. Its brute strength and resistance to microbial-induced decay make this product a durable advancement in wastewater infrastructure.
For our team, lowering the first lined manhole was a momentous event. Following significant investment in our lined product manufacturing facility in Orem, Utah and testing, our Geneva team is excited to see our first Perfect Lined Manhole as a highlight of this major municipal wastewater project.
