Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) marries the best features of concrete and steel, with the concrete pipe managing compressive forces while the steel cages provide tensile strength. RCP has a proven long service life and offers resiliency and sustainability that make it a classic choice for water transmission, sanitary sewer systems and storm drainage. Its high-load capacity supports both dead loads and live loads above.

We manufacture RCP in sizes 12” through 96” in a variety of strength classes. This durable, easy-to-install pipe is an excellent choice for both shallow and deep projects. In addition to the traditional RCP we also produce RCP for microtunneling and jacking as well as Elliptical Concrete Pipe.

Precast Trenchless Pipe

Microtunneling and jacking has many benefits over open-cut construction including less disruption from construction and less damage to streets, roadways, and buried service utilities. RCP brings its own advantages to trenchless installation—its competitive price, rigidity, and ability to maintain its circular shape even at full point load. We manufacture concrete pipe for trenchless projects in sizes 36” through 96”.

Elliptical Concrete Pipe

Elliptical pipe is an excellent choice when faced with height or width restrictions, or when a system needs greater flow capacity for shallow bury conditions. Manufactured in standard diameter equivalent sizes of 18” to 54”, this pipe is ideal for use in storm drains, underground detention systems, culverts, and sanitary sewers.

Non-Reinforced Concrete Pipe

Reliably used in North America for well over 150 years in sanitary sewers, storm drains, and culverts, Non-Reinforced Concrete Pipe (NRCP) is less costly to produce than its RCP equivalent because it does not require steel reinforcement. We use the same forms to manufacture NRCP as RCP, making both types of pipe interchangeable without any transition pieces. RCP is ideal for areas of excessive loading, while the lower-cost NRCP can be used in project sections that do not require reinforced concrete pipe.

We supply NRCP in 12” through 36” diameter meeting all the appropriate ASTM and AASHTO criteria. This rigid structural product is an excellent choice for projects with 2’ – 12’ of cover
